What did you do last night? That is a question we often hear. When we hear the question we probably think about the dreams or events of the night before. How often do we describe to those around us a night of unsettled thoughts, feelings and emotions; or a restless night of disrupted sleep, or insomnia for reasons that are usually not good?

Even the idea of night... darkness and all that goes with it is unsettling! But consider this. There is a last day and a last night, which is our last night on earth. The last time we sleep until we awaken in eternity. Is your never dying soul ready for that last night and the Great Judgement Day that follows? It should go without saying that each of these last nights are literally a shadow of the very last night to ever be. It is summed up in the Word saying...

In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
